Introducing Bistro on Blackwall

Francis Teo will head up the new catering team at Woy Woy Leagues with his “Bistro on Blackwall” operation. Bistro on Blackwall will offer contemporary Asian and Australian cuisine featuring fresh produce and innovative dishes mixed with old favourites.

Francis was born in Malaysia and came to Australia in 1980 to study at Newcastle University. He lives on the Central Coast with his wife and 3 young children. Francis commenced his catering career working at Maitland City Bowling Club in 1984.
In 1986 he opened his first catering business at Cardiff RSL where he successfully operated “Bistro 83” for several years. He has since been responsible for catering at many clubs in and around Newcastle including Belmont Golf, Club Phoenix, Newcastle Workers, Cessnock Ex-services, and then Mingara in 2002 until 2008.
In 2006 Francis also took on the catering contract at Merrylands RSL Club Ltd including their Central Coast operation. Since then he has successfully catered on the Central Coast Peninsula until moving his team to Easts Woy Woy Leagues.
Club General Manager, Steve Brickley is looking forward to Bistro on Blackwall.
